The glass also helps protect furniture and carpets from fading because of UV rays. If you would rather not cover up your windows with curtains and blinds, then Low-E glass might be for you.
A: You can install replacement windows at any time throughout the year. Warmer weather is ideal for keeping the cold from coming in during installation and because there is more daylight for installers to work, but that doesn’t mean you can’t install in the winter or fall. Just remember it might take a little longer in the winter, but ultimately, you decide when is most convenient for you.
